Sandara-3 Says: Is it my browser or what...? i cannot view the
full picture... i'm sorry. but from what i can see ( it loaded about 20%
and then quit on me T_T) the highlighted parts are a bit too... uh...
solid. they look like white lumps on the hair and ribbon. if you're doing
the CG in photoshop, don't just use the paintbrush tool... it's better
to use the select tool to mark out the area you wish to color and then
adding in the highlights. ( highlights don't mean that it has to be white.
a lighter variant of the base color usually works too.)

Young Wang Says: The coloring seems rushed... and muted. I think
her eyes need whites to give her eyes a more natural effect. I thought
her eyes were green though. Not sure. Haven't played FF7 in a while. =}
If you like the coloring the way it is, you might wanna do a combonation
of darkening up the lines and making the whites in her hair 'whiter'...
so it makes it look like it's reflecting more light. RIght now, it seems
rather dull. Also, doing clean up of the random smudges would help too.

Lorelai Says: Wow, I guess I'm one of the few who got to see your
picture ^_^;;; I'll look into direct upload for The Art Corner as soon
as possible! Anyway, About this picture...boy does Aeris look smug!! Also
I can tell it's unfinished, but here's what I can tell: You are using
the airbrush too much. Reflections, especially in the eyes and hair, cannot
be done with a soft brush tool alone. I highly recommend that you use
the paintbrush option...they give more distinct lines. Also, her eyes
are a bit odd in color. If you want her eyes to be blue, keep in mind
that a VERY small portion of the eye is actually blue. You have the whites
of the eyes, the pupil around it, and then the colored iris. Because the
eye has such small subtleties and light/shadow I don't recommend using
an airbrush to do any part of it. I look forward to seeing the final product;
it's looking really good!
