Artist's Comments: If possible I would like comments on the figure itself, and on the pose, are the proportions correct, it the pose natural, etc. I would also like comments on the coloring style. How do you like the style? What improvements you think I can make? Thanks!!

Min Kwon Says: Ronai!!! =D~ Cool coloring and background. The figures are
correct, although it can still improve (hey, we all can ^^). For example,
how the hand/wrist/arm of the hand holds the gun -
you CAN hold a gun with your hand/wrist like that, but if you
want to aim well, you wouldn't. The hand - wrist - arm should be
all at a straight line like this. Also, for a sexier man's bod, I'd
make him taller overall, and make his thighs as long as the torso/tummy (^^)
area. His arms are pretty much correctly
drawn, but remember that the upper arm is slightly longer than
the lower part! Lastly, you're a good artist and I feel so damn
bad that you didn't get to participate the MAG for my month. Oh
well. ^_-

the proportions are a little off. his lower body is a bit too small to support the upper body. the face is a bit too angular and sharp. the hair could have been drawn more fine and the eye should have a dot of highlight ( it's not noticable on the smaller head, but it is on the bigger ). his clawed hand doesn't look right... and his feet have a cropped off feeling, and is too small.
praise... ^__^ a great background! that's not what you see everytime at the TAC! ^___^ also, a very unique composition.
the coloring is fine, just work on the proportions.

extrodarily nice background.. and I like the half-transparent enlarged
copy. I do that a lot. The coloring and shading in his leg and arm is
very nice. His chest, however, I think needs more shadow definition.. it
doesn't have much detail in the shades.. he's a very uniform blue. Nice
effect in his hair. =} His pose seems odd, however. The way he's holding
the 'gun', it doesn't look like he's posed to fire it or being ready for
combat. Also, his clawed arm seemed angled awkwardly. Other than that,
it's a nice pic. I like the background a lot. I wish you would tell me
how you did it =}

Hmm... interesting character here, he kinda looks like Sephiroth must when he's having Buzz Lightyear dreams... well, I'd say you have a very good understanding of the different parts of human anatomy; legs, torso, arms, head, now you just need to learn to put these different parts together more accurately. In this drawing, you need to either enlarge everything from the waist down, or shrink everything from the waist up, his two halves are uneven in size. Also, try again with his hand holding the gun, draw a hand from observation in the same position, you'll see that fingers are not quite so rubbery, you need to get more of a sense of bone structure in there. I do love how you captured the twist of his upper body though, you really feel like he's moving through space.
The coloring is excellent. Is this CG or paint? Or both? You have a very smooth, eye-pleasing style. The lighting seems just a little too arbitrary though, pick a light source and stick with it. The more convincingly you render the lights and shadows on him, the more realistic and believeable he's going to look, anime character or not. Good luck ^_^
