Juno Says: Wooooooow~ O_o! That is some VERY classy Xenogears fanart! You have such great control with your tablet (I tried it once, didn't get it at all O.o) You do hair beautifully¡¦ I love how the front bang came out, and the eye (soooo cool XD!) As for the skin, adding the pink to the lips, cheek, and nose makes it look more realistic, and using dark brown-reds for the darker parts of the skin was well done. Techniques on coloring skin always varies with the artist's particular style and preference. It all just depends on you. ^^ Lessee, the head is a bit narrow, remember that the top part of the skull is round, almost spherical. Fei¡¯s forehead and neck came out nice, but the back of the head needs to grow a bit more. I don't see anything wrong with the nose (the Escaflowne characters; noses were pretty long, though O.o) but yes, shrinking it down a bit might help. Beautifully done. Ciao! ^^

Arion Says: Whoah, Gnd.. Love the hair! That is hair I need to learn. ^_^ I really like your work. Wonderfully done. I agree with you about the nose but it's not bad either I mean, look at Escaflowne. Quite similar actually. I love the tones you used and the blue is really nice. I like the expression. I can't find much to come down on though I could complement it quite heavily. I'm curious how you did some things. As far as backgrounds.. They just take some playing with. It's not that hard to pick up unless your doing real complicated things. You could jump from the solid colors make use of shapes and gradients. Little designs. YoungWang would probably have lots to offer in advice or examples for nice backgrounds. Very nice detail as far as strands and cloth/skin tones go. He almost looks like he's blushing ^_^ Sincerely well done.

Maggie Bradshaw Says: Oh, my gosh, I can't belive I'm sopposed to be critiquing this picture! O_o. I can say a million great things about it, honestly. The skin coloring is amazing, and I love how you used like pinks, roses, and like,, oranges to make such a realistc skin tone. The only things I oculdnt possibly say about the pic that would be doing my job are to agree with you in saying the nose is a bit long, and as a personal preference, I don't much like the yellow for the background due to the yeollow in the skin and the yellow/tan tunic...just too much overwhelming yellow. I would suggest maybe a very light blue or reddish tone, or even orange since the blue lining on the tunic stands out a lot and is very striking (a cool and good thing ^_^) and orange is a contrasting color to blue....but that just my two cents.Ja!! You're awsome!!

Lorelai Says: Mwah!!! Oroooo~! Wow, what a picture! I think i posted it on RPGamer, no? anyways, the hair is beautiful. I'm not sure how you did it, but it resembles the way I do hair lately, which is with that funky brush in photoshop + smudge....It's gorgeously soft. You're right though, I think his nose is a wee bit long. Profiles are a lot harder than they look, ne!!! Something about his look/facial expression seems...clueless...Good for Fei, but bad if it was unintentional! His eyes are also a bit farther back in the head for a profile, and his head is a bit narrow. (the brain takes more space than that...) Also Fei has no adam's apple that I can see...so unless ye are proving that Fei is indeed female...! Heehee!!! Man, sorry I got ultra-picky on you! It's just that there wasn't much to critique, it's such a good picture!!!
