Artist's Comments: This drawing is the most recent CG I made using Corel Photo-Paint. Please point out any improvements that should be made here. I've been drawing all my life but never taken any formal figure drawing classes. So I'm not so confident with producing balanced and uncrooked images. I follow the basic steps involving skeleton sketching and rough drafting, but the final product always seem to have a hint of weirdness hiding here and there.

Maggie Says: Wow Miso! what an awsome pic! serisouly I love it when the artist colors the lines in the picture to make the coloring! ( like a blu outline on a blue shirt) that's alwasy a big plus. Your shading is also pretty good, and seems correct as well since the little glowy is emitting the light! the character are both very nice and seem to have lots of emotion, and I love the girls hair!!! It's so cool!!! I really don't know what else to say..maybe the guys hand is a little small, but everything else is great and great coloring job too!!! I'm sorry I wasnt very helpful, but I couldn't find anything you seem to have a problem with! ^_^

Audra Furuichi Says: Hi MiSo~! This is a really lovely CG~! ^___^ Truthfully, it's one of my favorites by you. I really like how soft and sweet it looks. :D I took a look at the skeleton image of your CG (by tracing over the structures in PS and checking to see where they lined up), and for the most part, it looks really good. Minor things like the guy's shoulders can be broadened, his hand should be a bit larger, and the girl's ear should be a little smaller or her mouth should be moved down a little. The guy's eyes are a little out of line, but they still look alright. I think the piece is pretty well proportioned, balanced, and well put together!

Meriko Says: Woo~ This is VERY nice. I love the gentle mood in this picture. What I'd love to see you do with this picture, or perhaps with future pictures, would be to be much bolder with the shading. The highlighting in the hair is especially nice, but a greater range of shades would really bring more depth to the picture, especially in the faces/bodies. If you'd like to bring more realism/depth to the faces, additionally, you might try defining the contours of the face more, such as the hollows of the cheeks, jawline, nose area, lips, etc. Studying anatomy books and figure drawing books can help greatly when figuring out the small details of arms and fingers, like the shapes of the joints, etc. or placement of shadows created by tendons and collarbones, etc. One little thing about shading...the light source(s) are a bit difficult to place in this picture. Sometimes it seems to be the globe, other times, there seems to be indirect lighting from above or the right. Keeping the light source consistant helps the overall mood of a picture very much. Keep up the wonderful work~ *^^*

Deranged Laine Says: hello ! very nice pic , esp the coloring ! a few things i can picky on here are her hair...it looks a bit haphazard at the moment , maybe making it smoother and more silky will spice it up ? XD also , folds on the clothes might need to be done a bit more naturally ; right now theyre a tad bit too stiff looking..like its crepe or starched ! :P hm...their hands seem a bit too small too...id recommend sorta drawing them slightly bigger in a more relaxed way so they look more natural :D if u observe hands , they seldom have uniformity when they...lie around...they tend to have some fingers up and some down , oh yea , joints ! some joints would do good in the hands of the couple ^^ great cg , gambare !
