Artist's Comments: Oh, I've always loved receiving various opinions on my art, and I especially appreciate when people honestly make suggestions when they critique my work. I always try to attain a better sense of improvement by taking suggestions to heart. For example, if my inks were a little rough on one piece and made it appear uncharming -- what could I have done differently, and apply it to my next piece.

Lorelai Says: Hi Sylph! Mwee~! This is a GREAT picture!!! Are you a member
of YERF? Cuz they'd love your furries...Anyway, the layout is fantastic, and it's a
great inking as well. Are those trees in the background? I suggest you look at some
chinese scroll paintings...those have excellent trees you might be interested in.
The female's right hand is a big ambiguous as to what it's doing / where it's
facing...i'm not sure how her harp is staying upright either. O.o If she's holding
the harp, then her fingers should curl around the wood, and plus she should rest
the bottom part ON her thigh...right now it seems like it's sliding off! ^_^;;;;;
I'm also having trouble locating the male's leg...i'm not sure whether he's facing
HER (in which case you need to make sure his sleeve draperies show his leg
underneath) or facing AWAY (in which case we should see his leg to the right of the
one showing now!) Their expressions are gorgeous, though. so are their clothes..
you've got shading and inking down really well! keep up the googily artwork ^______^

Kyubi Kitsune Says: Hoi Sylph! This is a lovely pieces of artwork! The
detail work is amazing and the poses are wonderful. ^_^ The composition is well
done, even with a background drawn in. The characters have a personality to them!
Ink is a rather difficult medium for people to work in, and I have to say, this is
excellent work!!
Okay~ because you do such wonderful work, I'll be a bit more nit-picky with what I
comment on. ^^ First of all, I'd like for you to strengthen your anatomy. For
example: Your characters' hands can use a little more definition. Try and get the
digits of the fingers and the nobs of the knuckles to look a little more
pronounced. Another thing I'd like for you to do is to work on the folds on the
cloak wrapping of the character on the right. Some of the folds seems a little
haphazard and sharp. Lastly, for the branches of the tree, I think if you made them
silhouette-like, it would strengthen the look of them in the background. Right now,
they look a bit sketchy whereas the rest of the drawing is clean and detailed.
It's wonderful furry art and I encourage you to keep working at it! Good luck!

Keiiii Says: Hoi~ First of all, I must tell ye that I wove how you drew the
furries - especially the female one (I see cute furry art a lot more often than
elegant ones. ^^). Also, you made a nice use of black and white by not being afraid
of using black. Though, I think you could've used more variation of greys to make
it more 'colorful' in spite of the whole pic being black and white... hum~ And the
fingers. The four-fingered furries are different from the five-fingered humans, but
maybe give different lengths to different fingers like human hands? ^^ (I'm not
really sure if the same length is what you intended...) And the female's foxy tail
has a type of shading/inking/etc that makes its fur look odd. I have a graphic to
explain what I mean. Zoi, I really don't have much to critique. You're already too
good of an artist! ^o^ I look forward to see ye again at TAC~
