Artist's Comments: When I drew this picture, I was trying something
a little different from the 'anime' style I am trying to learn. This was my FIRST picture ever done on photoshop, so sorry if it is messy and not very clean (I originally shaded it as a sketch)..please show no mercy and tell me what I need to do to improve my styles. I am but a 17 yr. old and aspire to get better..Thanks a Lot!

Juno Kim Says: Hoiii, Tim! :D Before I say anything else, I'd like to say
that your illustration is way awesome! And hey, anime is only one part of many
parts of the art world XD Anyway, the colors you've chosen to color your subject is
an excellent combination; it attracts the eye and keeps it focused on the subject.
^^ I think the eyes are beautiful.. they are unique and attractive, as well. The
shape of the head came out beautifully also. :D When you do CG work, though, you
should try to keep your lines as clean and as smooth as possible, so that your
colors stand out more. Though this depends on the style, sometimes it's better to
avoid drawing many lines, especially if you want to use color to show depth. For
example, the pink part of the hair, the collarbone area, and the waist might look
rounder and "fleshier" if you avoid using thick, dark lines. Rather, I would advise
using color to show that she's got a hottie figure XD The chest is well done; the
arms look a bit stiff(the elbows should be lower on the arm) and the stomach could
go down a bit more as well. You did an awesome job, Tim :D Keep up the great work!
Ciao for now XD

Nicole Eng Says: Hi Tim!
First of all, to me the most noticeable thing is the waist-to-hip ratio that you
have on this figure. Though this might be attributed to the style you are trying to
achieve, it doesn't look right. A more natural looking waist-hip ratio would be
closer to the golden ratio (2 parts to 3 parts) When you redraw this image, try to
make the hips one and a half times wider than the waist, in order to look less
pinched. Also, if the right arm on the figure would disappear behind the breast
like that, it would mean that the arm should dissapear behind where it attaches to
the shoulder, and the left arm should overlap a bit more on the torso.
Nice work on the skin shading - It's a very thorough job.
