Artist's Comments: I was very comfused about the lighting situation with this piece. Also, I'm a bit worried about the portions of his hands to the rest of his body ^^;
Though I love drawing people, I still often get the portions worng onthe hands and feet. I think that I may had done it again with this piece.

Dragonfly Says: Hoi Lea~ WOW! When I first saw this pic, I really loved it.
His face and outfit are very good, as well as the coloring.
I can see imediate problems with the hands, they kinda look like they're in a
awkward position. I think the problem can be fixed by repositoning his left hand,
and have it so it rests on his other hand. Or maybe even take it off the rail, and
have him holding his hand up towards his face, I'm not to sure. Also try grabbing a
mirror, and drawing your own hand, you'll probably be amazed how much this can
help, especially when you can use the mirror and your other hand to draw positons
you can't really see.
Overall I think the piece looks very good, the coloring, the lighting in the
background etc. You just need to work on those hands and this pic would look great!

Yeah, i know this picture is reeeeally old ^_^;;; Sorry we took so long to get to
your pic in the TAC Queue~!!! *aaack* Anyway, Let's see...his eyes are absolutely
gorgeous, and his expression too. Hmmm, sorta reminds me of Kunihiko Tanaka's
work~! His hands are a bit odd...i think it's cuz some of the lines don't work with
the others...his right hand, for instance. His left hand is somewhat strange, too;
but it's much better. LOVE the shading on the clothes and the hair, it really suits
the simplicity theme of the picture. Not much I can critique here! You rock!! =)

striking. I'm not going say much about the hands.. I agree with Lore's and DF's
comments.. and plus I have problems with hands myself... ^^;;;; The lighthing is
the first thing I noticed... the second thing was what could make it even better...
you have a very strong sunlight comming though the window... to enhance that
effect... you can add "sun streaks"! and "bleed" out to his outline... you
already have a little on the outter side of his hair.. I'd like to see even more
of that effect.. =D
The clothing is great! I like the linework too... Simple and clear.
