Artist's Comments: Help to improve my drawings of anatomy of shoulders... I think that there is something about Morrigan (lady standing)'s shoulders that I misplaced. It may be that her head is to big? I think I have some anatomy problems here. This image was done with HB-6B pencils on photocopy paper (I regret using such a surface, but it started out as a doodle). My first pic for critique ^^

Kyubi Kitsune Says: Hoi Sue~!! I must say, you're above what I would consider intermediate.. From this picture, I've seen your artwork literally flourish and get all that much more better!! I can't encourage you enough to pursue it! XD

Okay~ as for this particular piece, you do have some anatomical problems. Morrigan's head is a little large for her body.. or perhaps her head is the right size, but her body is too short and small. Lilith, proportion-wise, looks great~! Her knees could be a little more "blocky" to indicate the bony landmarks there, as well as her pelvis. (so it won't appear as "flat".)

Truthfully, your shoulders looks great~ they may be a little short, but you have the pit of neck and the collarbone landmarks in the right areas. ^_^ You've done a great job! Keep up the wonderful artwork!!!

Lorelai Says: Hoihoi Sue~!

GORGEOUS picture...the pencil work is fabulous!! just a few tiny things....her head is noticeably larger than her body when it comes to proportions...it seems in this picture, if you want to exaggerate anything in the standing figure, it would be her legs...also, her boot gets a liiiitle too close to the sitting figure...whose hatching on the thigh and upper body kinda stands out against the smoothness of the rest of the picture. Also, the wings on the standing figure's head come out of different parts of her head..I think you want them to be symmetrical, no? ^_^ This picture is AWESOME. I think it's absolutely ... amazing!!! Keep up the fabulous work! Since it's also a pretty old pic, i'm assuming (since you've been in our queue for so long) i shudder at the thought of how good you must be NOW!!! as Keiiii would say, I hate you T____T j/k~! Take care~

Keiiii Says: Hoi~~~~ This is a great pic! ^o^ I could go on pointing out all the good things in the pic that you should keep when doing other arts in the future, but that'd take too long. XD So... you know, when I first looked at the pic, I thought Morrigan's head was a bit too big as you mentioned, but as I traced the pic to study it, her head didn't look so big. In fact, it's just microscopically bigger than Lilith's, which is natural. The problem seems to be that when you picture Lilith standing as well, she'd be just as tall as Morrigan... (it's easier to see if you look at the part where their hands meet; their hands are of the same size) So Morrigan's body should be bigger (not just taller, since the proportions within the body look fine...).
