Maggie Says: I do like you picture of Pheobe a lot and i
especially like how the background really brings the character out in the
picture more! ( in other words, very good chioce of colors!!!) I guess the
onlyt hing i can say to help you with this pic a little would be to maybe
make the shading a little more noticable. It may just be the scan, but the
shading looks a little light. if it was to be darkened a bit, i think i
would make the picture more dramatic. I like her pse, and how shes holding
up the bow, it adds a little more motion to the picture. So, i guess a bit
more shading on the hair, clothes, and skin would looks nice. Hope i
helped!!

Lorelai Says: What's up! Ok, so my colleagues have told you about proportion and shading. So I'm going to tell you a bit about drawing hair. Your Phoebe's hair is well crafted, but it seems stiff and sorta flat. First thing about hair is, draw many, many lines. Not like a line for each strand, but many lines because you don't want to be so definite about what the hair is doing. I think hair is one of my strong points, you might want to click my thumbnail piccie and go see my sample drawings cuz I'm really not sure how else to say it! ^_^ GoOd LuCk!!!

Audra Says: What a cute image! :D I can see a lot of your own style in your rendition of Phoebe, which is wonderful. It's also good that you're moving out of the mainsteam! I really like to see that in fan art today! ^_^ You
also put her in an original costume with your own take of her hair style.
She has great proportions which is also great!
Now, looking further into your picture at what can be done to spice it
up a bit... first, the most noticable: the background. Because it's a
simple grey gradation strip, it draws away from the image. Unless your
colors are solid and bright, I'd suggest using a lighter, transparent
color. Secondly, you might want to work on coloring her with more contrast.
Because there is so much blue and it competes with the blondeness of her
hair, it washes out her complexion. Lastly, it's a lovely portrait shot,
but it helps to evoke a feeling or mood in fanart. That's what makes it
original and unique! :)

Sandara-3 Says: Hi! You have a grasp on how to use color pencils, just work on the shading a little more. it's good to study figure poses a little, since in your picture, Phoebe's pose looks stiff.
