Hanna Says:Wonderful drawing! I love the special effect and colours, as well as the settle expressions on the two characters faces. There are two things, however, that seems a little odd. The top of the two character's hair looks as if they're in the shadows, yet there's a bright light in the centre. (the lens flare... ^^) If that's a separate light source, there should be some sort of reflection on the hair, i.e. highlights. The other thing is, the character's eyes looks like eyes viewed from the front, for profile views, the eye should be shorter. The lens flare creates very nice effect for the drawing, but I think it's a little too bright that it draws away viewer's attention and they miss beauty of the original drawing! And because it's places up high on the drawing, viewers are likely to pay less attention to the bottom of the piece. Other than that, this drawing is a very well-done!

Lorelai Says: Man, you really have to keep up the fanart, because I can tell you've got a mind for the most awesome ideas! This post really hits me, it's so profound! The lens flare is well-placed too. However, it's time to work on your human profiles! The human profile is not so flat and square. the nose is taller than you think, and the eyes lower than you think. Of course, ethnicity also matters, but either way, I think it's time to get out that sketchbook, sit on a park bench, and observe!!! Good Luck!

Silas Says: Ah, a summoner. The Knights have Cecil and Cyan and what not as their
figurehead, and the summoner's have.... um... well.... Rydia? I guess I
won't go on my Rydia-bashing spree on my first critique. I'll save it for
later. :D The almost complete lack of white gives the drawing a more complete look to
it, and the shading is done quite well. The ONLY problem I have with it is
the lens flare, a wonderful tool that's used way too much for the wrong
reasons. While this isn't exactly the wrong reason, it's not used to
enchance the image, just to make it look prettier. If the picture was
symbolic, it might have been more appropriate to have an image of a summoned
monster or something. Not to say this drawing needs reworking. Just trying
to give sound advice. :D

Sandara-3 Says: hi Jesse! great job using PS5...^_^ and nice composition. your coloring is pretty good already, and the only thing you need to work on now is your inking. use long strokes instead of short jagged "furry" lines.
