REFF Ramble!

This REFF Ramble is brought to you by: Lorelai Wu
Hoiyas everyone! Well I wanted to tell you first off that the first TAC Meeting was a big success! We kept on
task, everyone chipped in and the attendance was superb! For those who missed the meeting due to unavoidable
conflict, here is a copy of the minutes that I took. Thank you all for
the wonderful feedback you provided, and also, thanks to MOST of you for staying on track and not being too noisy
and/or disturbing in the #artcorner channel while we met!
Ah, yes, now for my ramble...it's been really hard for me these days running TAC. First off, I really don't have
the free time to spare. I know that, the REFFs know it, RPGamer knows it...but golly I enjoy TAC more than any of my
other web projects these days. I want to make it the best that it can be, and so I've created this ramble (which you
will hopefully make a habit out of reading) so that I and the REFFS alike (and perhaps guest writers!) can get their
words published on The Art Corner.
REFF Slack: The primary reason for the delay between updates is because - and I hate to say this - the
REFF turnaround time for critiques is less than on-time. When I say I want to try for a weekly update rotation, I
mean it...but I can't do it if I don't get critiques back from the REFFs in 2, 3 weeks. This is not the REFF's
fault entirely...a week is a short time and all of us are very busy with our own lives. This has made me decide on
two things: we will be inviting more REFFs, and also we will be delegating tasks...more on that in the next
paragraph.
Positions and Order: In the near future, I suspect there will be elections for positions similar to
President, VP, Secretary, etc...as well as nominations and invitations to prospective REFFs. TAC will not function
as a one-man band...er, actually, one woman band. ^_^ Tasks will be split among 'senior' REFF members and will
function more like an organization, as it is meant to be. Hopefully this will make it easier to establish a weekly
routine of critiques.
Well, that's all I can think of to say for now. This ramble will be updated more frequently than the critiques, I
have a feeling...so stay tuned!
